Our Story
Some people are born into farming and know that’s how they will spend their life from a young age. Damon Dettmering stumbled into and fell in love with agriculture while in college at Colorado State. He started from the ground up, literally digging irrigation ditches and managing production. By the time he completed his marketing degree, he was hooked. Damon eventually moved into sales for what was, at the time, the largest organic farm outside of California.
With more than two decades of experience in the produce industry, Damon combined his deep agricultural expertise with the entrepreneurial spirit he developed watching his mother build her small business to found Cornerstone Produce Group in Central Florida.
Today, Damon, alongside his wife Rachel and the Cornerstone team, has grown the company into a trusted provider of premium fresh fruits and vegetables, serving retailers, wholesalers, and foodservice partners throughout North America. Built on a foundation of integrity, quality, and long-standing relationships, Cornerstone is committed to delivering produce that consistently meets the highest standards while providing the personalized service customers have come to expect.
